The first ever Bhangra Blizzard will be held in the prominent Center for the Arts Mainstage located on the University at Buffalo Campus. Bhangra Blizzard will be the first ever Bhangra competition in Western New York featuring ten teams from around the nation competing for :

 

	$1,000 first place prize,
	$500 second place prize,
	$250 third place prize

This brother and sister team are ranked as 2 of the top dhol players in
North America. Malinder Tooray; North America's first and only female dhol player out to prove that Punjabi females can compete with the boys. Jess Tooray: A master of creativity brings a new wave of talent to dhol playing & Punjabi bhangra. Having played with the best in the business like: RDB, Sukhbir, B21, Sukshinder Shinda, Jassi Sidhu Raje Shwari and BPR CREW this young team is also the opening act alongside Sukhi Dosanjh, DJ Alvin D, and DJ Knuckles of BPR CREW, showcasing their skills and getting the audience ready for what promises to be a spectacular show.
